Emerging Leaders


EL class 2014This exciting program strengthens students’ core writing, speaking, and  critical thinking skills. Emerging Leaders are engaged in unique learning and mentoring opportunities that correspond to their interests and foster personal development. Students gain valuable insight into corporate, public, political, and non-profit worlds through exposure to new ideas, fascinating places, and dynamic established leaders. Unlike many leadership programs, ELP services are free to participants and there is no cost to apply.

Moton Fellows


John Lewis and Moton Fellows 2014The Moton Fellowship Program offers a select group of highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to experience one-on-one coaching and mentoring from some of the leading experts and practitioners in business, government and nonprofit organizations. Fellows are paid a $1,500 stipend over the course of the summer. The program recruits exceptional students to a fellowship designed to produce the next generation of world-class leaders. Fellows are selected to work at the Gloucester Institute’s Moton campus. Projects and responsibilities are determined based on the Fellow’s career and educational interests.
